GenZ Astrologer (genzastrologer.life) offers free automated astrology readings and paid personal consultations with an astrologer. Questions about this policy? Message us using the buttons at the end of this page.
2. What we collect, feature by feature
Vibe Check, Situationship Match, horoscopes and cosmic weather
Your sign, birth dates and times, optional names or nicknames, and anything you write in “spill the tea” are sent to our server only to calculate your reading. We don't save them. We also send your device's date and time zone so readings match your day. If what you write suggests you might be in danger, we show support resources instead of a reading; that check happens in the moment and nothing is stored.
Your sign, remembered in your browser
To open pages on your sign, your browser remembers it in its own storage (“local storage”) on your device. It stays there until you clear your browser data. It isn't a cookie, and we can't read it from our side.
The Void (anonymous confessions)
When you post, we store your post (with phone numbers, emails, links and @handles automatically hidden), the optional sign and mood you picked, the automated reply and the time. To limit spam and stop the same person reacting twice, we also store a one-way scrambled code made from your connection's IP address and browser details. We can't turn that code back into your IP address. Reactions are stored with that code. Posts and their reactions are deleted automatically after 90 days.
Contact buttons
When you tap a WhatsApp, Telegram, Google Meet or Zoom button, we record which button it was, where it sits on the site, its topic (for example “situationship”), the page and the time. That's all — no message text, no phone number, no IP address. It helps us understand which channels people prefer. These counts are deleted after 12 months.
Hosting, security and analytics
- Cloudflare hosts this site and its database (in the Asia-Pacific region). Like any web host, it processes technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you request, to deliver the site and protect it from attacks. Our server keeps short-lived technical logs to fix errors.
- To slow down spam, our server briefly keeps request counts per IP address in memory. They aren't written to our database.
- Cloudflare Web Analytics counts page views without cookies, so we can see which pages are useful.
- Google Fonts supplies our fonts, so your browser connects to Google's servers, which see your IP address.
Cookies
We don't set cookies. Our host may set strictly necessary security cookies to keep bots out.
3. Personal consultations on WhatsApp, Telegram, Google Meet and Zoom
When you contact us on one of these apps, we see what that app shows — for example your name, profile photo, phone number or username — plus whatever you tell us. We use it only to arrange and give your session. These apps process your data under their own privacy policies, so we can't promise anonymity there:
- WhatsApp always shows us your phone number.
- Telegram lets you hide your number: Settings → Privacy and Security → Phone Number → Nobody.
- Google Meet and Zoom show the name (and photo, if any) of the account you join with. We arrange these calls in the WhatsApp chat.
Our conversation stays in the chat app. You can delete it on your side at any time and ask us to delete our copy.
4. How long we keep things
- Vibe Check, Match and horoscope inputs: not stored.
- Void posts and their reactions: deleted automatically after 90 days. Our own starter posts, marked “sample”, stay.
- Contact-button counts: deleted after 12 months.
- Your remembered sign: on your device, until you clear it.
- Consultation chats: in the chat app, until you or we delete them.
5. What we don't do
No accounts, no ads, no selling or renting of data, no advertising trackers and no public profiles.
6. Your choices
You can use every free tool without giving your name. Want a Void post removed sooner, or our copy of your chat deleted? Message us — for a Void post, tell us the text and roughly when you posted it, since posts aren't linked to a name. Contact-button counts can't be linked to you, so there's nothing personal there to delete.
7. Under 18?
Please don't share personal details in the Void, and talk to a parent or guardian before booking a paid session.
8. Changes
If we change how we handle data, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
